A Little Help From My Friends

I’m doing some story research and need your help. I’m looking for feedback on why you would (or would never) consider setting foot in a gentlemen’s club.

For the women:

  • If your significant other (S.O.) asked you to go with him, would you? If not, why not?
  • Do you think your S.O. goes without your knowledge? Would it bother you if he did?
  • Would you consider going to a club to be a turn-on or a turn-off?
  • Would you date/marry a man who frequented clubs on a regular basis?
  • Would you consider a married man who goes to a club to be a “cheater”?
  • Do you have sexual fantasies about being a dancer in a club?

For the men:

  • Would you ever ask your significant other to go with you? Why or why not?
  • If your S.O. suggested going to a club, thinking this might please you sexually, would you take her up on the invitation?
  • If you go to clubs regularly, is it because you are not getting what you need from your S.O. at home?
  • Do you have to hide the fact that you go from your S.O.?
  • Do you feel like you are “cheating” on your S.O. by going to clubs?
  • If you ever get private dances, do you ask the girls to do/say things that you are afraid to ask your S.O. to do/say?
  • Would you ever date/marry someone who worked as a dancer in a club?

Please send your responses (which will be held in confidence) to me via e-mail at brandiwoodlawn@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Opportunity Knocks

I’ll be heading off on a trip shortly to do some research for a new project. I can’t give details just yet, but at a minimum, I’ll have three new stories to write when all is said and done. I’m excited about learning all I can about the world these stories will be set in, as this world is a vast departure from my “real” life. And that’s got me a little nervous, too. But I’m confident I’ll figure out a way to pull it off. It’s time to break some boundaries and grow. When opportunity knocks, you’ve got to answer the door, right?
